McCord ChristensenChief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
Mr. Christensen co-founded PetIQ in 2010 and has served as our Chief Executive Officer since our inception and is a member of our board of directors. In 2015, Mr. Christensen was named Chairman of our board of directors. In addition to his leadership responsibilities as Chairman and CEO, Mr. Christensen’s expertise in retail and consumer products has enabled PetIQ to deliver targeted and well executed commercial programs and products across the retail industry. Prior to founding PetIQ, Mr. Christensen gained extensive retail and management experience working at Albertson’s and as an executive in consumer product companies selling to leading U.S. retailers. Mr. Christensen holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boise State University.
Mr. Adcock co-founded PetIQ in 2010 and serves as our President and as a member of our board of directors. In addition to his leadership responsibilities as President, on a day-to-day basis Mr. Adcock is responsible for all product development and company branding, packaging design, website development, in-store merchandising, advertising, social media and marketing campaigns. Prior to founding PetIQ, Mr. Adcock served in executive positions for companies associated with Jack W. Nicklaus, including as the Chief Executive Officer of Nicklaus Golf Centers, LLC. Mr. Adcock holds a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University.
John NewlandChief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary
Mr. Newland has served as our Chief Financial Officer since 2014 and as our Corporate Secretary since 2015. Since joining PetIQ, Mr. Newland facilitated the move from a regional auditor to KPMG, implemented enhanced control systems and standards across the company and upgraded our finance and operations organizations. Prior to joining PetIQ, Mr. Newland gained extensive retail and consumer products experience working for Albertson’s and SuperValu in a range of finance roles. Mr. Newland is a retired fighter pilot and Commander in the Idaho Air National Guard, where he served from 1985 to 2013. Mr. Newland holds a Bachelor of Science degree in corporate finance from the University of Idaho and is a graduate of the United States Air Force Air War College.
Rob MooneyGeneral Counsel
Mr. Mooney began representing PetIQ in 2013 before becoming its full time General Counsel in early 2015. Mr. Mooney interned with the Honorable Lloyd D. George in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada before beginning his career with Holme Roberts & Owen (now merged with Bryan Cave). Later, Mr. Mooney worked with Burbidge Mitchell & Gross in Salt Lake City, Utah, focused on complex commercial trial advocacy. In 2012, Mr. Mooney joined Clarke Capital Partners, LLC as its General Counsel and Managing Director where he served until joining PetIQ full time. Mr. Mooney holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management – Finance from Brigham Young University. Mr. Mooney was awarded his Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and his Master of Law with Honors from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Mr. Mooney also holds a Certificate of Business Management from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
Adam FellersVice President of Sales
Adam Fellers serves as PetIQ’s Senior Vice President of Sales. Mr. Fellers has over 12 years sales and marketing experience in the companion animal space with leading brands including PetIQ, Bayer, Furminator and Royal Canin. Mr. Fellers earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Iowa before completing his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Fellers is proud to have won multiple NSTRA Championships with his cherished German Shorthair Pointer, Nose.
Nate SmithVice President of Strategy & International
Mr. Smith is the Vice President of Strategy and joined PetIQ in 2013. Mr. Smith has over 15 years of strategy and development experience including six years with Walmart’s corporate offices. Mr. Smith was the strategy lead in the development of the Walmart U.S. grocery division strategy, and contributed to the development and execution of the Walmart pet department strategy. Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Utah State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
