PetIQ Springfield, Utah Plant Awarded 100% SQF Audit Score

EAGLE, Idaho (August 21, 2015) — PetIQ is proud to announce that its manufacturing facility in Springfield, Utah received a 100% score and Excellent rating on its SQF quality audit, completed August 20, 2015.

Safe Quality Food (SQF) is a rigorous food safety certification, designed to measure an organization's ability to manage food safety risks, provide safe product and satisfy quality measurements.

"Very few pet product companies are SQF and GFSI certified and even fewer receive 100% audit scores," stated Cord Christensen, CEO of PetIQ.  "PetIQ has made the necessary investments in the facility, experts and partners to achieve this distinction as a world-class facility."

According to the SQF auditor, this is only the third time he has awarded a 100% audit score.  The perfect score reflects the highest standards of cleanliness, quality handling and processing, and the resulting food quality and safety made possible by PetIQ and manufacturing experts, Ballard Manufacturing.

PetIQ is proud to produce US made pet products from its Springville, Utah facility.  Products are sold nationally under the brands Betsy Farms, VetIQ, and Delightibles.
